Ahhh, my fine little friend. The only piece of Apple hardware I own, though if anyone has a Powerbook they'd like to give me, I'll be happy to use one of them as well.

Discontinued by Steve Jobs on his return to Apple in the late 90's... But still beloved by many dedicated users.

I don't really know why. I like mine, but it's little more than a toy, really. It doesn't do much more than a cell phone and a notebook & pencil can do now, but not many people have them, and they look pretty cool.

I had to make a cable to connect mine to my PC, I've documented the process on my Newton MessagePad Serial Adapter page.
