Also, surely it’s just a matter of time before a SongSmiths version is done to celebrate the work of Morrissey and Marr.

Unfortunately most people wouldn’t get that The SongSmiths was even a play on words. I’m happy with The Cure for now – even though I’m not really a fan. It’d be nice to have something more upbeat though, and maybe with better lyrics.
